The Garden and Grounds Supervisor sets the standards for skilled gardening work such as planting, transplanting, cultivation, pruning, and general care of plant materials and landscaped areas. This position performs skilled horticulture practices and landscaping activities such as IPM and other plant and soil health initiatives. This supervisor is responsible for effective planning, organizing, and supervising of the garden, grounds, and custodial team to ensure the entire exhibition, including internal and perimeter grounds, achieve and maintain the established standards for cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience.
This position directs the daily functions of the garden and grounds team, including scheduling and payroll.
